Situated in a quiet location near Calton Lees, Russian Cottage overlooks acres of farmland surrounded by woodland. As you drive up the tree-lined track, you’ll spot the cottage’s distinctive Russian detailing and rustic exterior.
Russian Cottage has one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and one twin bedroom with a separate bathroom. You’ll have your own private garden with outdoor furniture and uninterrupted views across the valley.

GROUND FLOOR
Sitting room with superb views across the Calton Lees Valley, TV with Freeview and DVD, Wi-Fi access and log burning stove. One double en-suite bedroom and one twin bedroom with a separate bathroom. Large well-equipped kitchen and dining room including a dishwasher and microwave. Separate utility room with washer and dryer.
OUTSIDE
It is surrounded by its own well-kept garden with outdoor furniture. Uninterrupted views across the valley.

Chatsworth Multi-Entry Tickets
Visiting Chatsworth? We can provide multi-entry tickets to the house, gardens, farmyard and playground for you to use throughout your stay. These can be added to your booking by our team, who you can contact on 01756 718 111 or res@chatsworthescapes.co.uk.
These tickets give you unlimited access to Chatsworth House and Garden, with free car parking for the duration of your stay. Holders of these multi-entrance tickets are also not required to book a time slot, so you have complete flexibility.
With these tickets, there’s no need to rush to view all of the wonders of Chatsworth, as you can return the following day on the same ticket to see what you missed or revisit your favourite part.
Please note that tickets must be collected from your cottage before visiting Chatsworth.
Multi-entrance tickets are not valid for admission to events such as the International Horse Trials and Country Fair. Please note the farmyard and playground are closed during the Country Fair.
*Chatsworth tickets over the Christmas period (between 9th November and 5th January) are single entry only and prices will differ from normal multi-entry tickets. Multi-entrance tickets are not provided when Chatsworth is closed January – March.

History
Russian Cottage was inspired by a model of a Russian farmhouse gifted to the 6th Duke of Devonshire in 1855 by the brother of Tsar Nicholas of Russia. The model was offered as a keepsake following the cancellation of a highly anticipated visit from the Tsar, for which Chatsworth’s Emperor Fountain was built by Joseph Paxton.
