With views of Edensor Village, Chatsworth and the Hunting Tower in the distance, Moor View is ideally located for exploring Chatsworth and the surrounding landscape, and is in walking distance of the house and garden.
The ground floor features a king bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, while upstairs offers a twin room with a family bathroom, a flexible bedroom that can be arranged as a double or twin, and a four-poster bedroom with its own private en-suite bathroom.
IN DETAIL
Ground Floor
Entrance to large panelled reception room with fireplace and seating areas. To the right, the drawing room offers a fireplace and comfortable seating. To the left of the reception room, the hallway offers entrance to staircase, library, rear garden and dining room. The library also serves as a TV room, with comfortable finishes, corner fireplace, large bookcase and ottoman.
The dining room has a table for eight with a fireplace and large window to the front. The dining room leads to a kitchen and ground floor bedroom with shower room and separate toilet. The kitchen space is colourfully tiled, featuring a double sink with views to the front, outdoor access and a traditional Aga. The downstairs en suite bedroom features a king-size four-poster bed, desk and chair, and reading nook with armchair and light.
First Floor
Staircase leads to a large landing space with a large cupboard. The first bedroom at the far side of the landing offers a twin bed with fireplace and views to both the front and rear. Adjacent to the twin room is the family bathroom, with free-standing bath and separate shower, fireplace and twin sinks.
On the other side of the family bathroom is the second bedroom, which can be set as either a large double or twin beds, corner fireplace, desk with chair and double wardrobes.
The final bedroom offers a beautiful four-poster king-sized bed, desk with chair and views to front and rear of the property. This room also offers a large private en suite with twin sinks, shower and bath.
Outside
Enclosed garden surrounding the property with handcrafted wooden bench. From the garden there are fantastic views over the village, Chatsworth itself and even the historic hunting tower can be spotted in the distance.

Chatsworth Multi-Entrance Tickets
Visiting Chatsworth? We can provide multi-entry tickets to the house, gardens, farmyard and playground for you to use throughout your stay. These can be added to your booking by our team, who you can contact on 01756 718 111 or res@chatsworthescapes.co.uk.
These tickets give you unlimited access to Chatsworth House and Garden, with free car parking for the duration of your stay. Holders of these multi-entrance tickets are also not required to book a time slot, so you have complete flexibility.
With these tickets, there’s no need to rush to view all of the wonders of Chatsworth, as you can return the following day on the same ticket to see what you missed or revisit your favourite part.
Please note that tickets must be collected from your cottage before visiting Chatsworth.
Multi-entrance tickets are not valid for admission to events such as the International Horse Trials and Country Fair. Please note the farmyard and playground are closed during the Country Fair.
*Chatsworth tickets over the Christmas period (between 9th November and 5th January) are single entry only and prices will differ from normal multi-entry tickets. Multi-entrance tickets are not provided when Chatsworth is closed January – March.

History
Built in 1912, Moor View Cottage was designed by the architect Romaine Walker, drawing inspiration from the Arts and Crafts movement. The cottage was refurbished by the Duchess of Devonshire and designer Rachel McLane, who aimed to preserve its historical features while updating the furnishing and facilities.
