The Hunting Tower

Step back in time at The Hunting Tower, a 16th-century retreat perched above Chatsworth House in Stand Wood. Originally, The Hunting Tower was built for Bess of Hardwick, who used the tower to watch the hounds hunting in the park below. After being restored, the tower is now a unique holiday cottage on the Chatsworth Estate, complete with a spiral staircase and sweeping views across Chatsworth Park.
