Dogs at The Hide

Some of the best dog walking routes in Derbyshire are on our doorstep and nearby – just refer to the walking guide in your room or speak to our team.

We offer dog friendly rooms, a dedicated space for dining with dogs in our restaurant and a dog bath and wash area to keep your pet clean after a day of exploring.

We’ll make sure you have a dog bowl in your room and plenty of well deserved dog treats too.

Dog Charges

We’ll add £20.00 per night per dog to your stay.

Our Pet Policy

Dogs are welcome in our Bunk, Spacious and Accessible Rooms when they are pre-booked. We welcome a maximum of two well behaved dogs per room.

Dog Terms & Conditions

The Hide welcomes fully trained, well-mannered, healthy dogs.

Your dog must be kept on a leash and accompanied by you, or held in arms, in all public areas of our hotel, including outdoors.

Please do not leave your dog unattended. If you require pet services and supplies, please contact reception before arrival.

For the safety and comfort of your pet, Housekeeping will enter your room only if your dog is not present, or you are present and your dog is leashed. Please contact reception on extension 0 to arrange a convenient time to have your room cleaned.

You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog in the hotel and outdoors.

Please do not allow your dog to disturb or inconvenience other guests. We reserve the right to remove any dog that displays inappropriate behaviour including, but not limited to, excessive barking, biting, or evidence of disease. You will be responsible for all charges relating to the removal of your pet, including transportation and kennel charges.

We charge £20 per dog per night for all dog stays. As the pet owner and registered guest, you will also be responsible for any additional cost for deep-cleaning, repair and replacement of anything damaged by your pet.

You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Devonshire Hotels & Restaurant Group (trading as Chatsworth Escapes), its owners and its operators from all liability and damage suffered as a result of your pet.
