The Peak District starts here, with locally crafted interiors inspired by the landscape and local heritage (complete with prints and objects from Chatsworth). Plus walking and cycling facilities, great food and an ideal location on one of the main routes into the national park.
All you have to do is escape, arrive and enjoy.
Out there
At The Hide, we provide everything you need for a great day out in the Peak District.
We have bike and boot wash stations, a dog wash area and cycle storage to keep everything clean and secure. Boot rooms, walking essentials and local walking guides mean you’re ready for anything.
We’ll even send you off with a packed tiffin box for lunch and welcome you back with tea and cake.

Get Out at Chatsworth
Guests at The Hide can book multi-entry tickets to Chatsworth for unlimited visits during their stay, and conservation tours from January to March, when the house is closed to the public.
A stay with us also comes with access to the Chatsworth Health Club, including a swimming pool and treatments, the Chatsworth Golf Club and the Chatsworth Fishery on the River Derwent, normally members-only (additional fees apply).
Eat & Drink
Inspired by outdoor cooking, The Hide restaurant serves fresh food from the land, cooked over flame and made to share.
There are 1,000+ acres of park and moorland to explore at Chatsworth, plus the house, garden, collection, farmyard and woodland play area.

The Hide sits on the edge of the Chatsworth Estate, with the house, garden and farm shop only five miles away.
