Winter Talk Series | Edmund and George share some exciting wildlife findings
Join Estate Ecologist Edmund Austin and Landscape Team Volunteer Co-ordinator George Hoey to explore Chatsworth’s wildlife through bio-acoustic monitoring. Using specialised recording devices and year-round surveys, the team gathers data to guide habitat management and track bird populations.
The talk also covers bird box monitoring and ringing in partnership with the British Trust for Ornithology, offering insights into population and habitat health, and how this research shapes the estate’s management.
