Bringing the Outdoors In: Floristry at Chatsworth

Winter Talk Series | Discover the inspiration behind Chatsworth's floral arrangements

From grand arrangements in the house to natural, foraged designs, the estate’s floristry team explains how they adapt their work for different occasions, tastes and environmental considerations. You’ll also learn practical tips for creating your own seasonal arrangements using locally foraged materials.

Building on a long British tradition dating back to medieval flower garlands, Chatsworth’s florists draw inspiration from the estate’s gardens, heritage and surrounding Derbyshire landscape. Working with estate growers and trusted local suppliers, they aim to use only estate-grown or locally sourced flowers and foliage wherever possible.

Doors open at 10.40am and the event runs 11am – 12pm. Tea and coffee will be served at the beginning of the session.
