Ashbourne Festival
A 17 day cultural festival in the market town of Ashbourne featuring street theatre, music, comedy, art and talks
Ashbourne Festival brings seventeen days of talks, music, theatre, comedy and art to the town each June and July. The programme ranges from free outdoor events to intimate performances and specialist talks across venues including St Oswald’s Church, the Town Hall, BEAR Ashbourne and the Link Centre.
This year’s line‑up includes the Summer Art Exhibition, the Street Festival, concerts from The King’s Men and the Tim Kliphuis Trio, theatre from Illyria and the Peakland Players, and a series of author and speaker events. Evenings with Huey Morgan, Gordon Buchanan, Ruth Goodman and Nikita Gill sit alongside whisky tasting, comedy, jazz and family‑friendly gatherings such as Picnic in the Park.
